THANKSGIVING LUNCH IN THE PANTHER CAFÉ, Wednesday November 8! (Schedule and reservation form below)
The Park Hill Elementary Thanksgiving Lunch is fast approaching (Wednesday, Nov. 8), and we need a few helpers to ensure a smooth event. If you are planning to join your child for lunch, perhaps you can also lend some time to help. If you are able, please sign up for a time slot to help in the lunchroom with dessert and drinks distribution/table washing/floor sweeping/general organizing of the chaos. Thank you!!

Milk caps, calling all LONGMONT DAIRY milk caps!

Did you know that Longmont Dairy will pay Park Hill Elementary 5 cents for every milk cap returned to them!  If you, your neighbors, or others you know buy Longmont Dairy milk, juice, and other beverages, please bring the caps to the Milk Caps for Moola drop box located outside the school’s main office.  Last year we raised over $200 for the school and every cap counts!  Caps from the following drinks are eligible: Milk, Chocolate Milk, Strawberry Milk, Half & Half, Whipping Cream, Orange Juice, Lemonade, Raspberry Lemonade, Classic Eggnog and Cinnamon Eggnog.  Please drop off Longmont Dairy caps only; no other caps are eligible.  If you have questions, please contact either Jennifer ( or Chris Mone’ (

The annual Spaghetti Dinner & First Grade Winter Concert will be held on Wednesday December 6.  This long-standing Park Hill Elementary community event allows families to meet, eat, and enjoy the first grade musical dance performance.  The dinner will be catered by Noodles & Co., Tables, Oblio’s Pizzeria, and Cake Crumbs from 4:45 – 7:15 pm.  Everyone is welcome!  Tickets for the dinner will be for sale online starting in November.  Stay tuned for details.  Please contact Erika Gipson at for volunteer opportunities or questions.

Please visit the Park Hill Elementary Website to learn about several community resources for the Holidays and year round.  You can also find this information under the ‘Parents’ tab on the Park Hill website and select the ‘Community Resources’ menu item.

Spark Change collection is officially underway!  Students will be collecting change during the month of November.  Student Leaders have voted that this year Park Hill Elementary will support Natural Disaster and Ocean non-profits.  Please refer to the letter sent home (below) for more details and support your student in collecting change to spark change!

In our ongoing commitment to support the Greater Park Hill Foodbank, we will be collecting canned foods and dry goods in a round purple bin located in the cafeteria.

Thank you in advance for your donations!

 Park Hill PTSA News:

 Crossing Guard Volunteers Needed

Park Hill School needs crossing guard help! At the very least, we would like to cover Miss Mildred’s position on the crosswalk west of the school at 18th and Elm. With Miss Mildred still out, Elm has become a mess of people parking in the no parking zone and the crosswalk itself! Please sign up if you are up for putting on a vest and holding up a stop sign for a shift or two. Thanks! Sign up Here!

Class Auction Baskets due November 10.
You should have heard from your room parent about putting together a class basket. If you have not, please reach out to them. Baskets are a huge part of our annual school auction! An enormous thank you to Brooke Chesebro for tackling the herculean task of gathering 20+ classrooms of baskets!
