SAFETY POLICY UPDATE

You might notice some new signage on the external doors. As a rule, all Adults MUST sign in at the office during school hours (7:55 am – 2:45 pm), and wear a visitor or volunteer pass when walking around the building.  In addition, we are implementing a new policy, whereas, adults will only be permitted to enter the building through the main front or back door during school hours.  Our intentions are always for the safety of our students.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Principal Burdette.

STUDENT PHOTOS

We are so excited to share this year’s student photographs with you!  All student images can be viewed at www.parkhillphotos.com.  Click on the ‘Park Hill Elementary’ button, and then click the ‘View Student Gallery’ button.  Enter password PHE2018.  You will be able to scroll alphabetically for your student, and enter their student ID for their personalized password.  Once you enter your student’s gallery, you can see options for purchasing a la cart items: prints, digital files, and wall art.  All a la cart products will be shipped directly to the address of your choice.  Please note, you will only have until October 31 to place picture orders – the galleries will be closed and reset at midnight on October 31!

Thank you to all of the families that have already pre-ordered Picture Packages.  These have been printed and delivered to school, and will be distributed by the classroom teachers, so keep checking those backpacks!

If your student missed Picture Day, or you are planning a retake of their image on October 25th’s Retake Day, you must register them for retakes by October 24 at https://www.parkhillphotos.com/park-hill-elementary-retake-signup/.  We will update the online galleries with the new images on October 26, and you will have until October 31 to place your picture order.

Thank you again for the opportunity to meet and work with your students. We are thrilled to be supporting Park Hill Elementary School again this year!

Sincerely,

Ashley & Brandon Scott

ATTENDANCE AND TARDY EXPECTATIONS

We have activated the attendance auto dialer.  If your student is marked absent at school, you will receive notification through the auto dialer.  Therefore, PLEASE notify the school office (it is not sufficient to just tell your child’s teacher), when you know your child will be absent from school, or more than 15 minutes late.  If you know your child is at school, but you receive an absence notification, please notify the office immediately.

There are multiple ways to notify the office of an absence.  You may stop by the office, call the Main School Phone and attendance line – 720-424-4910, or download the Park Hill Elementary mobile app. and report your absence there.

*If your child is late, it is required that parents/guardians come into the office with your child to sign them in for the day.  If you do not accompany your child, they will be considered tardy (unexcused).
