The I Heart Park Hill Auction will be held on Feb. 25, 2017 at Park Hill Golf Club!
Please join us for a super fun evening and our most important fundraiser of the year! This FREE event is welcome to everyone in our community, so please invite your neighbors and friends! Proceeds from our auction directly support our classroom paraprofessionals (reducing our student:teacher ratio), math and reading interventionists, additional resources for our computer lab, art, music, and library, as well as funding for our school nurse and crossing guards! Every cent matters and we need YOU to help us “Bridge The Gap” from what we receive from DPS and what our needs require. We need to raise $150/student to “Bridge The Gap”, so your support is greatly appreciated!
Enjoy dinner on the town and then head to the golf club where the good times will continue! Bid, bid, bid!! We expect to have over 400 fantastic items in our silent auction, ranging from experiences to great getaways to class baskets, camps for kids, our extremely popular Buy A Share parties, restaurant gift cards, sports and entertainment, and local art. Get ready to hoot and holler during our spirited live auction, where you have the opportunity to win cool raffle items and outbid your fellow parents! Bring it on!!
We are thrilled to announce that following our live auction, the incredible 80’s cover band, The Goonies, will be performing live!!! So pull out your neon glasses and get ready to hit the dance floor!! Online registration and select bidding opens January 13th!!

How Do I Donate?
You can fill out the online form here and follow the instructions for arranging delivery of the item.
You can also print out the 2017 Auction Donation Form and bring the item to the office.
What Is Auction?
Commit now and mark Feb. 25, 2017 on your calendar. This is always a great time and it will be even better the more people who attend. In fact, we’re so sure that you’re going to have a good time, we’ll give you one drink ticket, prepaid by the PTSA, just for walking in the door! There’s no ticket or admission fee.
When and Where?
The auction will be Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, from 7pm – midnight at the Park Hill Golf Course Club House. The Park Hill Golf Course is located at 35th and Albion. We will have a live band beginning around 10pm for those who wish to dance to some sweet 80’s tunes!
Who is Invited?
This is an evening for adults, so book your babysitter now. That said, anyone who cares about Park Hill Elementary is welcome to attend — parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors. No ticket or admission fee is required. Come one, come all!
How Important is This?
The Park Hill Elementary Operating Budget relies on the auction each year.
This year, our goal is to raise $100,000. The proceeds fund these essential services:
- Paraprofessionals in the classroom
- Literacy and math intervention/support
- Health aide in the school office
- Resources for the library, art and music rooms, and computer lab
- Lunchroom supervision and crossing guards
Our school truly is an amazing place of great learning! We know that budgets are tight, so we ask that you prioritize your giving and put your child’s education at the top of your list. Every donation and volunteer hour will help to make our school the best it’s ever been!

What Happens on Auction Night?
The evening begins at 7 pm with cocktails and silent auction bidding. When you arrive you’ll be assigned a bidder number if have not already registered ai iHeartParkHill.com. You will be charged only for items you win.
Throughout the evening you can scope out your favorite items and write your name and bidder number on the bid sheet. You’ll find great items in all price ranges.
Winning and Taking it Home
Auction night you’ll be able to take your winnings home, and you can pick up certificates the week after the event (times and dates will be advertised at the Auction itself).
You’ll want to get to the very popular Buy-a-Share table early in the evening. These are great parties for adults and/or children of which you “buy a share” for you and your spouse or for your child. Some examples from previous years are: a Left-Right-Center dice party, Crawfish Boil, or a Booze Cruz. Costs for these fun experiences vary by event, but all sell out quickly!
As the silent auction closes, the live auction portion of the evening begins. An Italian Feast for Ten, Condo in Frisco for Spring Break, or a week in Gandby Ranch; these are some of the big-ticket items of recent years.
Even if your family budget is tight, you can celebrate; come just to enjoy the excitement and/or give as little as $5 and know that you have been an important part of supporting our school.
Beyond the Auction
This is more than an auction; it’s also our community’s best party of the year! Here are some additional activities you can have fun with:
- Great raffle prizes – Cruiser Bikes
- Wine Wall – A game os skill?
What Else Should I Know?
- Each person gets a prepaid drink ticket, courtesy of the Park Hill PTSA.
- Delicious food will be provided by Park Hill favorites Cake Crumbs and Oblio’s.
- Most dress up a bit. Khaki pants and nice shirt for the men and nice pants/skirt/or simple dress for the ladies. But you can come as casual or as dressy as you like!!
