Spring Break Reminder
A quick reminder that next week is Spring Break and that Monday, April 1 is a holiday. Please plan accordingly and we will see students back on Tuesday, April 2.
School Choice Results
School Choice results were sent out to eligible families on Wednesday evening. Families looking to make a change from their assigned school will be able to update their applications during Round 2 which will open on April 10, 2024 at 10am.
Families with Pre-K students who have been matched to Park Hill are encouraged to complete the UPK pre-registration application by Thursday, March 28 in order to secure their UPK funding.
BESS Screening for 3rd-5th Grade
As part of our effort to support the Whole Child, our school will be implementing a universal social and emotional screening for students from April 2-5. Each student in 3rd-5th grade will complete the self-report version of the BESS here at school. The results will be analyzed by our school team and used to identify and support the social/emotional needs of our students as well as inform supports moving forward. Upcoming CMAS dates
Please try and make sure your 3rd-5th grade students are present for the upcoming CMAS testing. These tests occur April 9-11 & 16-18.
3rd & 4th Grade Performance Set Design
The third and fourth grade drama class Greek mythology plays in April are in need of some additional set pieces and props. Anti-Idling Campaign
As part of our Engines Off anti-idling campaign, we’re asking that all persons operating vehicles at or near the school turn off their engine when parked for more than 10 seconds. In addition to protecting public health, turning your engines off will save you money.
Each year, 6 billion gallons of fuel are wasted in the U.S. just by idling! That fuel amounts to $20 billion. And contrary to popular belief, warming up engines prior to driving hasn’t been necessary since the cars of the 1980s. Cars warm up faster while driving. Furthermore, leaving car engines running causes more wear and tear on vehicles than does turning them off and on again – that damage can add up to $200 each year. So, please abide, don't idle, turn your engines off!

Colorado Rapids
Following the School Assembly at Park Hill Elementary, your student was sent home with a flyer with all the details for this Spring's school fundraiser in partnership with the Colorado Rapids Major League Soccer Club. Your family, friends, and colleagues can purchase discounted tickets to the Colorado Rapids vs. FC Dallas match on Saturday, April 20th at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park. A portion of each ticket purchased will be donated back to Park Hill’s PTSA Fund. See details in the flyer below.
