We will post pre-enrollment packets in mid-December for families interested in attending a DPS school during the 2024-25 school year. The pre-enrollment process helps to create a profile for your student in the DPS system.

SchoolChoice will run from January 11-February 12, 2024.   Families can rank their preferred schools for their children to attend during this time.  Traditionally, if Park Hill Elementary is your DPS Neighborhood Boundary School and you pick Park Hill Elementary as your school, you are guaranteed a position here in the fall.  Applications can be completed at https://schoolchoice.dpsk12.org/ during the SchoolChoice window.

Families applying to the Pre-K program for their 4 year old children will go through the State of Colorado UPK enrollment process to match their child with a preschool.  Families will need to complete a Universal Pre-K (UPK) application on the UPK website (https://cdec.colorado.gov/colorado-universal-preschool) usually starting in mid-January and closing in mid to late February.  Families are then matched with a pre-school by UPK.   We have ~20 spots available each year. Spots are chosen randomly by the state UPK system. In past years, priority (determined by the state) is given to families with siblings at the school.  Priority is not given to neighborhood boundary families for UPK unlike the normal process for K-5th students.  Last year we had a waitlist of 80+ families - so we would encourage you to look at other UPK providers in addition to Park Hill as a backup option. 

We do not have an ECE program for 3 year olds at this time.
