Happy Friday Park Hill,
We are excited to continue the annual gift card drive this year. Last year we were able to raise several thousand dollars and help provide extra support to families at our school. This is completely voluntary and we know there are many other worthy causes, but this is a nice way to support our PHE community during this season. Please see the details below.
We were informed that Denver Water will be working around the school starting this Saturday. They don’t plan to shut off any water during school hours, but their presence around the neighborhood is likely to add congestion during pick-up and drop-off. Please try to leave a few minutes earlier if you are planning to drive to school. Thanks in advance!

Park Hill Elementary Annual Gift Card Drive
This December we are collecting gift cards in $20 increments to the following businesses: Safeway, King Soopers, Walmart, and/or Target. This money will be used directly to support current Park Hill students and families for the Holidays. Donations can be delivered to the main office. Donations are appreciated and optional - there is no obligation or requirement. This is an act of charity and service to those in need. We ask that all gift cards be brought by the end of day on Wednesday, December 14th.
If you or someone you know is in need of these types of support, please reach out to the school. The best contacts are Principal Burdette, Assistant Principal Bixby, the front office and our school psychologist Emily Ward. All information and requests will be kept confidential.
Pre-enrollment window open
Pre-enrollment helps us get all of the information the district requires to get new students ready for enrollment. The pre-enrollment packet can be found on the front page of the website. This is requested only for new students to DPS or those transferring back into DPS from another school.
We do not need actively enrolled students to complete this information. Please send completed packets to ann_kurth@dpsk12.net
Lost and Found Clean Out
On Friday, December 16th we will be cleaning out the lost and found. If you think you may have something there, we encourage you to have your children search through or parents are welcome to come take a look during school hours.
Report Cards are available on Parent Portal
Report cards are now available for your children through the Parent Portal link at https://myportal.dpsk12.org/. Questions about specific grades should be directed to the appropriate teacher. If you need your child’s student ID number (it is the same as their Chromebook logins so many students have them memorized) you can contact the front office.
