Happy Friday Park Hill Families,

Fall feels like it is upon us with the leaves and weather changing. A reminder that our students are outside nearly every day so please make sure they are equipped with the right gear for the next few months - jackets, hats, gloves, appropriate footwear (please label everything).

I want to thank all of our teachers who put in extra time the past few weeks with conferences and meeting with families and students. I hope this was an opportunity for families to get a solid picture of where their students are academically. There is a lot of the school year left, and it is our mission to get all of our students on a successful path for the remainder of the year and going forward. I would encourage families to stay involved and current with your student’s homeroom teacher and any of their Intervention, GT, Special Education, and/or Behavioral Health teams as well.

Enjoy this weather before it turns and have a safe Halloween!

Ken Burdette, Principal

Art Fundraiser

A reminder that all Art Original Works Fundraising brochures went home last week and all online orders are due November 1st. This year's fundraising money will go towards art supplies, paint, and new paint brushes.

FYI on previous fundraising Original Works efforts: Our kiln is fully funded (A big THANK YOU! from Ms Pravacek) and we are just waiting for a final inspection for installation.

Mindfulness at Park Hill

This week we are focusing on generosity, another aspect of Mindfulness. When we are kind to others, WE get a benefit! Watch for children to be more kind this week. You can find more details in the video description.

As a supplement to the in-person sessions, you can watch the video "Generosity” with them. You can access the entire video library HERE. If you have questions or suggestions, reach out to me at SustainableThree@gmail.com or #303-898-9496. ~"Miss Liz"
